What kind of apparel are the tees printed on?
Most tees are printed on American Apparel 2001 Fine Jersey Short Sleeve Men T-Shirts, however with custom designs, you can choose from other apparel options. Soon, there will be other default apparel options as well as different products (like hats).
What are the washing instructions for shirts?
The American Apparel t-shirt is the smoothest and softest t-shirt you'll ever wear. Made of fine jersey, it has a durable, vintage feel. These classic-cut shirts are known for their premium quality, as well as ability to stand up to a washing machine (will keep size and color after many washings). The shirts are 100% fine jersey cotton, except for the heather grey color (90% cotton, 10% polyester). Typically machine wash warm and dry medium or low. Wash colors separately from whites. Do not iron the printed areas.
What type of ink do you use?
We mainly use genuine Brother GT-3, water based pigment inks. GT-3 inks are CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on youth/children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. Also, GT-3 inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.
What technology is used to print on t-shirts (and any fabric product)?
Our standard process is the Direct to Garment (DTG) method of printing. That means we can create photo quality prints. We use the Brother GT 381 printer for all DTG printed garments. We also have all-over-printing and screen printing options.

How can I make a change to my order?
If you made a mistake on your order or would just like to change something, please email us at orders@analogythreads.com and let us know. If your order has not been shipped out yet, we should be able to make the change for you. Please include the order number (if you have it), the name the order was placed under, the email address used for the order, and what you would like changed. You can also use the form on the CONTACT page. It's best to try to contact us the same day the order was placed.
Do you sell shirts wholesale? Can I place a bulk order?
We do not sell "wholesale". Anyone interested in bulk orders should click here to fill out the form. Bulk orders start at quantities of 100.
What happens once I place my order?
Once an order is placed, allow up to 3 business days before it ships. All orders are printed upon order placement, that's why there are never "backorders". We are never out of stock. Once it ships, it will arrive within 10 business days. Currently there are no faster shipping methods, but if there are extenuating circumstances, faster shipping is available. You would need to place an order using the CUSTOM form. Arrangements can be made for faster shipping on items in the shop OR custom designed items.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by all major credit cards or PayPal. Sorry, we don't currently accept orders over the phone, or with cash or checks.
How long does shipping take?
Once your order ships, it will arrive within 10 business days via USPS or FedEx.
How do I track my package?
The shipping confirmation will provide tracking or a delivery confirmation number.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we do not.
What about to military addresses or PO Boxes?
Currently we do not. All orders must go to a physical address within the 50 US states.

You can go to the Problem Reports page and use the form there. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
Can I exchange an item?
Typically exchanges are not done. Buyers remores, size, color, or garment exchanges are done at your own expense.

You can contact us about design ownership by going to the DESIGN OWNERSHIP page. This way, you can buy the design from us and we will no longer own the rights to it.
